At a meeting at the Marine Cluster in early March, mathematician Jón Scheving Thorsteinsson presented the results of Arev's analytical and review work on the risk assessment of genetic mixing and criticised numerous aspects of the current risk assessment. Arev's work was carried out for the Federation of Hunting Associations.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Food, the Marine Research Institute, the Federation of Hunting Associations, game landowners and conservation organisations.
