JÓN SCHEVING THORSTEINSSON

John holds a master's degree in action research from Stanford University. He worked as a production manager and later sales and marketing manager at Sól until 1996. Jón founded Arev in 1996 for consulting related to companies. Jón joined Hagkaup and later Baugur, where he managed the company's foreign investments until 2003. In 2004, he founded Arev Ltd. in the UK but Arev was also operated in Iceland. Arev Securities Company received an operating license from the FME in 2006. Jón graduated in securities trading in 2012.

ÁRNI SV. MATHIESEN

From 2009 to 2016, Árni worked in corporate consulting at Arev Securities Company. From 1991 to 2007 he was the managing director and owner of Bedco & Mathiesen ehf. The company specialized in the import and sale of nursing products for hospitals and healthcare institutions, as well as selling office and security products for companies, institutions and banks. He previously worked in the beverage industry and was the marketing manager of Mr. Ölgerðarinn Egil Skallagrímsson. Árni has a master's degree in law (ML) from Reykjavík University together with Cand. ocean. degree from the University of Iceland.

SÆRÓS EVA ÓSKARSDÓTTIR

Særós lauk meistaragráðu í fjármálum frá University of St. Gallen í maí 2023 og hóf störf hjá Arev í júní sama ár. Árið 2016 hóf Særós nám við Boston University og útskrifaðist þaðan í maí 2020 með bachelor gráðu í viðskiptafræði með áherslu á fjármál, ásamt því að vera á íþróttastyrk og spila fyrir golflið skólans. Á árunum 2018-2020 þá var Særós í sumarstarfi í bókhaldi hjá ERA. Þar á undan starfaði hún sem móttökuritari hjá Sensa frá 2015-2016 og svo aftur sumarið 2017. Að auki þá starfaði hún sem golfleiðbeinandi hjá GKG samhliða golfiðkun frá 2010-2015.

ÓSKAR GARÐARSON

Óskar joined the board of Arev Securities Company in July 2016. Since 2014, Óskar has been the managing director of Dögun, a fisheries company with main operations in Sauðárkrókur. The company specializes in fishing and processing shrimp. In the years 2009-2013 he worked for SJ1 ehf as a director and later a managing director. SJ1 provided asset management and consulting for related parties. Óskar worked as an investment manager at Milestone from 2006-2009. Óskar was CFO and later one of the managing directors of Eskja hf. In the years 2001-2006. Óskar has served on the boards of various companies in connection with his work in recent years. He holds a BSc degree from Lancaster University (1992) and a postgraduate certificate in business studies from Warwick University (2007).

GUNNAR INGIMUNDARSON

Gunnar joined the board of directors of Arev Securities Company in July 2016. Gunnar completed his Cand. Oecon degree from the University of Iceland in 1981. Worked for the Association of Icelandic Industrialists until 1986. That year Gunnar and others founded the software company Hug hf. and was its managing director until 1999 when it was sold. Worked as a manager with new owners and participated in various mergers in the years 2000-2007. That year he took over the position of managing director of HugarAx, the merged company of Hugar hf. and AX software house. Worked in that position until 2009. He then became part of the management team of Skýrr hf (later Advania) and worked there until 2016. He now works as a consulting consultant at LS Retail - a software manufacturer for the retail sector with operations around the world.

GUNNAR ÁRMANNSSON

Since December 2012, Gunnar has been an in-house lawyer for VHE ehf., A company of about 500 people that services smelters around the world as well as being active in the contractor sector in Iceland in the field of new construction. In the years 2009-2012, Gunnar was the managing director of an innovation company in the field of health-related tourism PrimaCare ehf. From 2002 to 2009, Gunnar was the managing director of the Icelandic Medical Association, and from 1993 to 2002, Gunnar held various management positions with the director of customs in Reykjavík. Gunnar graduated with a Cand. Jur. degree from the University of Iceland in 1993 and an MBA degree from the same school in 2002. Gunnar is the chairman of the board of Expeda ehf. which is an innovative company in the field of computer intelligence and medicine.
